Don't know what all the hype is for an air cooled 993. 69-73 yes anything after including 996.
Someone is quoting what KBB.com values a 100K-mile 1998 C2S as. Of course, KBB has no relationship with reality.

It's amazing to me that you can find similar posts like this one on other forums as well.

Keep driving it! I bought my '95 with 88K miles, and drove it to 145K, then sold to another rennlister. Still running strong as ever. The Turbo has 74K now.

It's folks like you that give others hope that there are deals to be had out there. Thank you.

I would not sell it. I said it was a mistake of a lifetime. I would drive it to work everyday. But you have to be realistic about it. I have not looked on the used car market. I would expect any of them with over 100k would be in that range. A 993 TT or 993 S model that's a complete diff story. I don't think you would find a turbo with that many miles. Just my own thought. No offense to anyone. I had one an 97 S and a 964 RSA. To me the 964 is it. Looks like old school 911. I own a 997TT and it's been the best car I have ever owned and the last. No more cash for cars.

Clearly.

Spoken by a 997 owner with no pulse or understanding of the current 993 market.

You might want to educate yourself on the 993 market before you post more

Imagine over 100k miles, in the high 20's maybe 30 tops.

Your fantasy vs. market reality:

A 96K mile 993 C4S sold for close to $55K in 2 hours a few weeks ago.

Thanks for playing

Hey, we get it.

Not only did you make an epic mistake by getting rid of your RSA, you doubled down on stupid by selling the 993, only to watch them both skyrocket in value and desirability.

Now, you're stuck watching your run-of-the-mill 997 Turbo depreciate as quick as it does 0-60.

The good thing is, you're still the fastest clueless clown driving down Denial Drive in Trollville

OP here -- thanks everyone for the comments and feedback, I always knew I bought the car to drive and enjoy so 100K will come and go, and I still won't be able to wipe the grin off my face.

The market will determine what these cars are worth and that's probably the easiest way to think about it. I do believe a well-care for and maintained WB even w/ 100K+ miles will be attractive for anyone looking to pick up a 993 in the next several years -- it will be less 'nonsense' money than a lower mileage garage queen.
