i think that the Rodifix seems like a good option too, assuming the base didn't get larger now that it has rigid latch.

What do you guys do with the seat when its not in use, since we don't have latch? Just secure it with the seatbelt???

Any chance you can post a photo and confirm if it is a recent version or older one?

Alternatively, do you know the dimensions of the base for the ones you got?

The latch disappears into the base. It's just a normal booster in the 993. When in a rental car for skiing I can use the latch.

Probably the best fitting past the Diplomat I've had. He's about an inch away from outgrowing it now.

perfect. i"m def going to try it. Are you using it with a tether or just the seatbelt to keep it secure? Sorry to beat this to death, but safety first, especially for the little ones

It doesn't have a tether.

Do please go to thecarseatlady.com and read up and make your own decisions as to whether now is the right time for a booster vs. 5 pt or rearward facing. Most upsize way too early.

That said, for my son, who is decidedly in the booster and actually on the larger side to still be in one but it is safer, I just sit the seat in the rear seat, and use the existing rear seat belt. I don't seem to have a pic, sorry.

I'm looking at the Clek Fllo 2018. I haven't tested yet, but the compact design should fit easily in the rear. Also, considering the Combi Compact Convertible.

You can search on me and car seat. The last one for quite nicely. So did the Britax Diplomat.

Here is my son in a Clek Flow from 2016. It fits, but I struggled to tighten it down enough to prevent side-to-side movement. For this reason I decided to wait until he is in a booster seat before taking him for drives. Also, you'll have to have a short passenger (if any) in the front seat as it pushes the passenger seat far forward.

It's very hard to get it tightened down, the only way I was successful is by locking it down on the other side belt (with locking plate too). As well like my other post above I have rennline anchors as extra support, but the seat belt really tightened it down to zero movement!

I did not use the seat belt. I replaced the seat belt anchors with Rennline harness mounts describe earlier in the thread and the clip it in using LATCH attachments. Incredibly tight!!!
