What do you guys do with the seat when its not in use, since we don't have latch? Just secure it with the seatbelt???

Do please go to thecarseatlady.com and read up and make your own decisions as to whether now is the right time for a booster vs. 5 pt or rearward facing. Most upsize way too early.
That said, for my son, who is decidedly in the booster and actually on the larger side to still be in one but it is safer, I just sit the seat in the rear seat, and use the existing rear seat belt. I don't seem to have a pic, sorry.

I'm looking at the Clek Fllo 2018. I haven't tested yet, but the compact design should fit easily in the rear. Also, considering the Combi Compact Convertible.

Here is my son in a Clek Flow from 2016. It fits, but I struggled to tighten it down enough to prevent side-to-side movement. For this reason I decided to wait until he is in a booster seat before taking him for drives. Also, you'll have to have a short passenger (if any) in the front seat as it pushes the passenger seat far forward.
