For a booster, assuming they are big enough (see www.thecarseatleady.org), I found Maxi Cosi Rodifix fits a 993 coupe very well.

Cosco high back booster from Target. Fits the 993 back seat and easy to source.

The Harmony Youth Booster seats from Walmart for 12.98 seem to work pretty darn slick! My three year old is elated she can buckle her own seat belt, and gets a booster seat, where as my five year gets to rock the back seat with just her seat belt and loves it!

Please check out Www.thecarseatlady.org regarding three year olds and booster seats. Lists of misconceptions. Worth a read IMHO.

I just bought an Evenflo Maestro seat. from 22-50 pounds you use the 5 point harness and from 40-110 pounds you use the seat belt. $55 from Babies R Us.

It has a small base that tapers in that fits the seat quite well.

I used a britax roundabout for 4 or 5 years with my 2 youngest. Worked fantastic. Gave it to another rennlister after my kids outgrew it.

+1 on Diplomat or Roundabout. Using Maxi Cosi Rodifix now.

I have a seven year old and a 17-month old. The 17-month old is front-facing in a Clek Fllo. Early, I know, but it's very secure and she rides in the car very infrequently. She'll be two soon enough and can ride more often then.

For the seven year old, I purchased the oft-suggested cheap Harmony seat from Walmart and it really doesn't fit the 993 backseat very well at all. Perhaps they've changed the shape slightly, but it didn't sit flat on the seat. Sent it to Goodwill rather than put myself through a Walmart return line over $13 -- f that.

He's using a Bubble Bum now, but it sucks too. The red buckles don't fit around the seat belt receiver "arm," and the seat isn't particularly comfortable for him. It's also developed a leak in a matter of just a few months of use. He also complains about the branding -- guess a shiny purple "Bubble Bum!" doesn't make him feel like a big guy...

So earlier today I ordered the Safety 1st Incognito in Grey. I'm excited about this one as it looks perfect for the spot. It'll be here in a couple days, and I'll report back.

I haven't had nearly this much hassle with other cars... the 993 is uniquely shaped and lacks LATCH. The integrated booster seats in my V70 are the best thing ever, also.

Yikes. No preaching intended but PLEASE look at the site I posted above and make your own informed decisions about seats and ages.

Mine is 10 and still in a booster with back. After watching crash dynamics videos when installing my race harnesses, and reading stats on the number of G's little kids' heads generate on yet to be developed neck bits...

Worth a read to make your own informed choices.

Did you guys do anything to secure the booster to the seat, like a latch setup (harness hooks from rennline) or just use the seatbelt?

Looks like they added ridged latch to the rodifix. I wonder if the base is still the same size or if it's larger now.

My daughter needs a booster, and my son is still in a forward facing 5-point. I tried a couple of different models, and have yet to find a model that can fit the tiny back seats in my 993. The semi-circular shape of the rear of the seating surface is what keeps causing issues with the seats I've tried.

Very interested to see what you guys come up with!

I used the documented Rennline and latch setup on the Britax, as it has the built in harness. Not on the Maxi Cosi. It goes by seatbelt, so I just set it in there.
