New Air Cooled Ride
So I bought a Harley. A 1994 FXR. The FXR was the predecessor to the current Dyna line and and was meant as an answer to the Japanese invasion. This bike, and the Evo engine are what some say saved Harley Davidson from bankruptcy. The frame is unlike other Harley's as it was designed for handling and comfort as opposed to looks. Eric Buell was a consultant on the project. These frames were handbuilt and expensive and is why they were discontinued after 1994. As I read about the bike, it reminded me of my 993. I found a nice one locally so took a plunge.
