Well, I was gonna do the Corral at Laguna Seca on Saturday until maybe 1pm, then head home. But, pricing is stupid high now, so I'll save the ~$120 and drive home Sat morning down Hwy 1.

I'm registered for the corral on Friday @ Werks.

Really wish this happened on a weekend day, so working folk like me could attend. It's not my car's fault I have to work on weekdays...though I guess it partly is

How are spectator tickets working for this event?

Per Tom Provasi, "No need to register if you’re not bringing a Porsche. No charge for spectators and you can park at the church next door for a $10 donation."

Two of us will be there from TN in a rental.

Anyone know the backstory why PCA pulled out of Legends and is doing this?

Ok I'll just show up then. I'll be Porsche-less on this trip, unfortunately. But I'll win something if they have a pick up section!

2 week advance bump. Two weeks from today I'll be somewhere betwixt San Diego and Salinas/Monterey. If I get out of here at noon, hopefully up there by 6ish on Thurs evening.

Any thoughts for a gathering after Werks on Friday? Baja Cantina, or somewhere in Monterey? London Bridge Pub at the wharf isn't a bad spot at all-decent space on their patio, good parking in the lot. Tarpy's is alway good, but parking will be a nightmare, and we'd have to make reservations.

Of course, an hour drive down Hwy 1 to Nepenthe in Big Sur would put us in one of the most spectacular locations on the planet.

Oh, almost forgot. My new V1 detector arrived today. Retiring my Passport S2, or relegating it to the truck. Got pulled over last time I went up right at James Dean's crash site. Sold my way outta that one, but figured it was time for an update.

The girlfriend and I will be at 1833 in Monterey for dinner at 6:30 if anyone wants to meet at the bar there beforehand. It's a nice restaurant with a cool bar. PM me if anyone will be around at that time.

Entered (which I think I posted earlier), but will be a "morning of" decision (which I think I posted earlier).

Not sure how much I'll have left in the tank after the event for dinner + nearly two hour drive back home + undoubtedly the need to be back at the shop by 6:30-7A on Saturday.

two hours from Monterey to Oakland in a 550hp Ruf? Surely you can cut that time down a bit.
