The original "Street" (Purple) bushes were engineered from an 80A shore material to provide a firmer-than-rubber alternative, while minimizing NVH commonly associated with poly bushings. As such, PowerFlex Street bushings are stiffer than the OEM bushings, but retain some compliance to be suitable for street driving.
The new "Race" (Black) bushes are manufactured from a 90A shore material to provide maximum stiffness at the same affordable cost of the Purple street material. We have added a Durometer Selection Guide that discusses this topic in more detail. For enthusiasts looking for the best geometry-preserving alternative without going to the expense of solid bronze bushings, PowerFlex Black Series offers the perfect solution. Ideally suited for AutoCross, PCA Club Racing, 944 Cup, Spec944, SCCA, and NASA racing classes (check your class rules, of course!).
Exclusive Offers on Facebook
This week only, we are offering a special package deal for 924/944/968 enthusiasts, which is available exclusively via our Facebook page. We will extend the special FB-only discount to any 993 owner who "likes" our page. Just send us a PM via RennList or Facebook to request your promo link. We will be running special package deals throughout the year, so if you "like" our page, you will be automatically notified when we post special deals in the future.

+++++^^^^ on rear lower control arm bushes. ERP's bushings are just a "tad" expensive. Would like a reasonable price on a quality product for those of us that aren't lawyers, dentist or bankers.
Also ERP doesn't have rear lower control arm bushings, only the 3 links (camber, toe & kinematic)

Walrod bushings still sound like the best deal for the front.
$217 for just front urethane bushings seems pricey to my frugal mind.

This is one of the main reasons we picked up the PowerFlex line because they include all of the necessary steel inserts across the entire product range, which I have not seen with virtually any other poly bushing manufacturer.

My hats were corroded, but I drive it in Canadian winters, where salt and sleet and black of ice shall not stay the Driver from his appointed rounds.
Spent quite a bit of time cleaning them up, then zinc electroplating them with my DIY Home Chemistry set. New SS ones would have been nice and easy...

I'll try not to take things personally, and maybe I'm a bit biased, but it kind of seems like bad form to be redirecting people to a competitors product in an ad that I pay for.
I am a tiny player in the Porsche world, literally a one-man operation, and I don't make a living doing what I do with Ideola's Garage. As much as possible, I try to sell below full retail to encourage people to support the "little guy". But I pay the Rennlist sponsorship fees just like every other vendor for the privilege letting folks know about some of the great products I can provide.
That being said, I don't mind discussing what I view to be the strengths of the products I choose to offer. In this case, I believe the PowerFlex product to be the best quality polyurethane bushings on the market. And they back it up with a lifetime warranty, something that I have not seen from any other manufacturer.
