I guess if you're looking for a fresh airbag, RUF is a good option. i don't particularly care for the styling, and I'm going away from airbags for my DE car. I'm installing Schroth harnesses and will swap to the Cup Steering wheel. Snowbird makes all good points. I'm 6'4" and the 350mm cup diameter with protruding wheel will give me a little more room to turn the wheel without banging into my leg. The 996 3 spoke runs 380mm, RUF is 365mm, and the RS is 360mm FYI.

I'm pretty sure that RUF wheel and bag are made by Raid and available for about half of that.

Jim, the 996 wheel, I believe, is less than 380. More like 365? I don;t have one in front of me, but many here can measure. For a DE car, I'd definitely go without bags. Probably Momo of some sort, like Prototypo, which could be had for $200 or so and another $100 or less for the Momo hub. I believe it's the same hub used with RS wheel. I presonally really like Momo Competition wheel, ave had them in my autocross cars for the last 15+ years.

Is anyone here running no airbags on a street car?
