Default Seeking pss9 rear drop links

Hi all,

I'm installing an M030 rear sway on my 993 with pss9s. I can't find the special rear drop links that came with the pss9s though and the stock links don't look like they will work.

Anyone have a set of these link that they would be willing to part with?

Thanks,
Pete

I bought a used set of PSS10's that did not come with the drop links. Called up Bilstein in CA and ordered them over the phone as I could not find them anywhere else. The PSS10 versions are shorter than stock and I can only assume this applies to the PSS9's as well?

I had to do the same. Paid around $80 per link and I believe the pss9 and pss9 drop links are actually the same.

Thanks for the replies. Doesn't look to good then.

Does anyone know the center to center spacing on that link? I could put something together with heim joints pretty quickly.

Thanks.

I would also consider going this route. Much better quality than the Bilstein versions for the same money and adjustable. I only find out about them after the Bilstein DL's arrived.

Smile +1 on Tarrett ...

drop links, +++ on all Tarrett products for that matter. I have used their drop links for years with my PSS9s. 993 RS rear drop links are hard to find and are not length adjustable as the Tarrett adjustable links are.

Ouch. $80 per link + shipping. That is basically the same price as the Tarret links, without boots.
Part number is E4-XB2-Z002A00

Thanks all.

ppressle-I had the same issue and bought the Bilsteins. I don't track my car and my Indy's comment made sense to me. Track parts (tarret) don't play well on the street and street parts don't play well on the track. There are reasons for both.

If you go with the PSS10 Bilstein rubber bushing drop links, how do you adjust them as they are non-adjustable (like the metal bushing adjustable Tarrets)?

Very easy to make your own. Order male/female heim joints. Install with car level on all four wheels and remove any pre-load. About 40 bucks to make them complete.

What was your source for the heim joints?

Speedwaymotors. They have the heims and the cone spacers. I got the bolts at local HW
I just ordered RH threads all the way around and just undo one end if any adj. is needed. When I made the control arms I went with RH/LH threads so the center was a turn buckle.
