Default Purple stain = tranny or power steering or ?

I have purple fluid dripping on my garage floor under the rear of my 993. The power steering rack happens to be leaking, at the front of the car, but that is yellowish. What is this purple stuff at the rear? Transmission? It's a manual.

Thanks.

Not too many options, are there? Tranny, brake fluid, or motor oil? Gonna guess transmission fluid given the color.

Unless it's a bleeding alien of course.

Colour of royalty, as befits these automobiles:

Open your power steering reservoir and put some of the fluid on a paper towel... What colour is it?

Yes .. that was my first guess. Some are red and some are purple ... I'd check brake lines first :-(

Check the fluid in the power steering reservoir in the engine. It is usually reddish purple. Never seen yellow power steering.
