the under hood temps would get warm enough to make the fan come on when i didnt want it to so i decided to make the plunge and add some vents. to my surprise it lowered temps by 6 degrees and now fan doesnt come n at higher speeds.

im also looking for an extra set of control arms. prefer ones with bad bushing as i want to get some powder coated and add FD bushings. if i could borrow the set i would pay shipping both ways and send you back a powder coated set of arms.

Loving this thread for the creativity & bird flip to staunch originality... HRE's were a nice snag.

Mk1 Scirocco Storm was my first car in the UK - will have another one day.

Thanks guys. Wheel specs are 18x9/11. Flares were off the classifieds here but wish I knew. The fitment is pretty great.

Just got my poly bushings from FD motorsports. I'm going to pull the front end subframe and powdercoat everything while I'm in there.

OP, have you seen these side skirts on flebay? http://www.ebay.com/itm/291284834662

Its hard to tell what these side-skirts are for and where they're from (and the seller seems clueless), but these side skirts might match those fender flares well. At $150 Buy-It-Now, the price is certainly low enough to allow for some experimentation.

I have not but thank you! I sent messages to a couple places seeing if I could buy skirts separately but no response.

so after a fiasco with the hre's i had to send them back. luckily i found some kinesis for a decent price. ordered some extra parts and built them to my exact specs i wanted. 18x10 et25 and 18x11.5 et12.

my little break down box. keeps from losing any hardware

polished up nice

these porsche caps actually snap in but they are a little loose. i'll probably use a couple set screws.

test fitting.
