Vibration Gone - FOR GOOD!!!!!!
Today, Andreas solved an on-going problem that I've had for years. It was a vibration that manifested only while braking. Trying to resolved this nuisance, I'd installed/rebuilt new rotors and questionable calipers, new A-Arms, re-balanced tires, alignment and whatever else I could do to get rid of that #$%^&* shimmy. Well "A" pressed in the new urethane bushings and installed them, NOW she's driving like a 993 should be.
Thanks Andreas.
Ken
PS: Now if I can only figure out why the steering wheel's cocked to the right.

That is good news! I have also seen this before, I did a set of bushings last year and it solved a long standing front shimmy...

It's funny how randomly this occurs. Both my 95 and my 97 are on original bushings and have similar mileage (lower-mid 80K miles). No problem at all with the 95 yet, the 97 is giving a slight wobble at certain speeds (not a wheel balance issue, I've had it done twice).

Maybe solved your...
other problem. "PS: Now if I can only figure out why the steering wheel's cocked to the right."
This is generally a toe adjustment....WAS (Wild *** Guess), you could have a bent tie rod(s), but I doubt it. As they say, "When you hear hoof beats, look for horses, not zebras." This homily doesn't work in Africa....
