[QUOTE=DiegoR;10866118]Thanks George. Yes, now I realize I have 450 HP 993tt. I was in doubt.
Like I said, my car is pretty much a Turbo S from factory and perhaps to finsih the engine power to make it to 450 HP was a side job/install.
The Turbo S oil cooler that is located in left front (driver side) is there and from factory.
Here are three photos of my car and the VIN specs if you want to check. Tell me what you think?
Thanks,
Must be Very nice to wake up one day and realize that instead of a regular 993tt (which is already very nice) you have a turbo S power package on yours. It's like Christmas.

It is! Thanks to "geolab" and other renlisters to identify what's my car actually.
geolab, at the end I didn't swapp the connectors, just cut the side plastic tab of the 02 sensors and it slided in like ring on the finger
Couldn't do the flahs light at night to the cluster gauge for the check engine, just at day making some shadow but couldn't find that check engine actually. I will have to remove the cluster gauge carefully, already tried and it's pretty hard pressed these gauges.

The Technical ROW Turbo S sheet with factory detailed differences with ROW Turbo.
Basically, the ROW Turbo/ROW Turbo S difference was not only horsepower and cosmetic, chassis is identically reinforced like ROW RS together with strut dome seam weld reinforcements.
Alignment values are unique to Turbo S, or ROW RS +5

pardon my ignorance, but were the turbochargers and intercooler the same between S and TT?
asking about US models specifically.
Porsche gained the extra HP / TQ primarily through DME mapping?
Cheers
Craig
Never mind.
closer inspection of the "Engine with power increase from 316 to 331 KW" document shows
the detailed part numbers for both the turbos and the DME.

I just got my 993 Turbo from the UK and the X50 conversion was done by previous owners. I've checked the part number of the DME and it says 993.618.690.85. Next time the car is up, I'll see if it has the 4 O2 sensors. Anyone have any idea of the specs of this DME?
Thanks in Advance!

Left side -----> BLACK
Right side -----> BLACK
You slide the black connector out of the bracket in the picture. You pull the red security lock out a little bit (like a box of small wood matches) you plug the O2 plug, and re-close the red security lock, back on the bracket
DID you see the small CHECK red plastic in the gauge ? with a flashlight at night

Old thread reviving this thread regarding the "CHECK ENGINE" light symbol is not present in my 993tt. I strongely believe it was deleted from factory(maybe some internal option) since my car came equipped with the "150" (countries with leaded fuels) code maybe has to do something with it?
My 95' euro (for central/south america region build) has the exact same "150" code and no 02 sensor fitted from factory, yet has CAT equipped (odd ) and oddly enough, the gauge does has the "CHECK ENGINE" symbol but is disabled, and NO, is not broken bulb or that someone took it off. If I try to set a fault in the engine to trigger the check engine light my scanner won't read as "CHECK ENGINE" just throw the fault code and description of the fault.
Black gauge = Carrera 95'
White gauge = 993tt 97'
You can see the black gauge the CHECK ENGINE symbol

Hello Diego, thank you for the feedback:
To me, the white dials are not original, which is why there is no check engine lid maybe
but who cares, you have a fantastic car, enjoy
