Since this thread started in a somewhat different direction I'd suggest another thread linking to this one letting everyone know what is going on here. I think the response will be huge. Something like : how to do a bumperette delete for under $200. That should get some attention. I'm definitely in, needless to say. Back to stock in 20 minutes. How can you beat it?

I really agree that this is a great idea. However, because of the relatively low production numbers (I assume <500) IMHO it would be impossible to hit the $100 cost mark. I am not thinking any profit here, just cost.
I do have access to a very precise 3D scanner. I will try to get a quote on the 3D printing and get a real estimate going.

I posted last year about making some (rough) versions of my own. They are good 10 footers but up close I did not get the contours good enough - what this really needs is a 3D scan and then 3D print. My plans to get a 3D printer are on hold so if someone else wants to take this up...

I'd be in at 200-250 unpainted for a well contoured fit too. If they were done right they would look spot on and no more out of place than the cutouts on the front of some newer cars including these benzs :
