I own a small design/manufacturing company and have been in aerospace/manufacturing for a while now. IMHO, this would be a perfect application for rapid/additive manufacturing. The technology has come a long way and is less for just prototypes and more for final products. This is just based on the volume of a product like this.
I would be glad to assist if needed. With a proper 3D CAD model these could be manufactured quickly. No need for expensive tooling for plastic injection.

I'd rather have these unpainted and maybe better bodies could supply at a lower rate since the owner is a 993 owner and could make them in glass worst case.

Hey Adam, if you are serious - what would you want/need?

In an ideal world you would have a 3D CAD file (.STL, .STP,.IGS etc..) of the part
Otherwise 3d scanning the working prototype would be required.
For rapid manufacturing, I would probably work with these guys:

They have some great high strength options.
I bet you would spend 5k+ on manufacturing proper plastic injection tooling if you went that route.

The material I had in mind.

It would require a little sanding on the exposed areas but should paint like any other plastic.

Thanks Adam. So the key here is getting a 3D model drawn out. I have the software but even if I do an awesome drawing job, the first one manufactured off that dwg is not going to be right (it is a curvy little bugger) - it will need making and fitting to a car to see what needs tweaking = long process back and forth.
So - does anyone have access to a 3D scanner?
