Are soft back sport seats the same as supple leather seats ?

No, I have the supple seats in my car right now. They are regular seats, but covered in supple leather. The soft backs have bigger side bolsters.

There is a really nice pair on German eBay. Expensive though at 4,200 EUR!

JP have you seen their results? This seems like it could be a 'relatively' economic way to get softbacks. Especially if one was about to recover their own seats. Are the skins available from Porsche or do they use an aftermarket supplier - any idea?

Beautiful seats but I doubt they will sell for anywhere near that price.
