You might have read 'septuplet' and wondered why. Well, it is one of seven ordered by just one, that's right, just one, customer. These pictured here are four of the seven. There is the gold one (Sahara Beige?), perhaps most famous, along with Orange, Blue (Royal Blue), Purple/Maroon, and Green (Silk Green) cars. I don't know the colors of the other two.

The one you posted (gold/gold) is in now in the Porsche museum. This orange one has 24-carat gold exhaust tips. Yup.

Look close, and you'll see all four of these cars (and probably the rest of the seven as well) have two unique details. AFAIK these are the only Porsches in the world with this detail - a request that had to go all the way to the top for approval.

Maybe the boss would only grant approval if he ordered them in bulk

Not referring to the stripes, although these are the only 959s I've seen with them. Actually, they're the only Porsches I've seen with this specific striping style, except for one Speed Yellow 964 Turbo S Leichtbau.


The world of Werk-I and Sonderwunsch, now Exclusive, are surely filled with plenty of interesting things.

does anyone know of the 993 with the 2 tone chestnut and tan, and a square weave carpet in a tan of some sort...awesome ! interior ! ! but i can't find it again... anyone?
