Woho, I got my 993 Cab!

Congratulations, beautiful car. Our twin baby boys (10 months) are still a bit afraid when I fire up the Porsche (997 GT3) and have yet to ride in it...but am sure that'll change over time. In fact, I am certain that I'll replace it with a 997 Turbo in a couple of years so that we can go together...I look forward to the "father & son(s)" bonding over Porsche cars like others have written on this thread.

I gave her a quick bath and took her off roading for a couple pictures. Well, on lawning is more accurate. She really needs a deep detailing which my neighbor is going to be handling soon.

Some of my most enjoyable and interesting rides have been in the rain
....The weather gods must be mad at me. I grabbed the key and went outside to go for a ride. Once outside I noticed dark clouds and a slight mist in the air. I ran inside, checked the radar, and saw that a popup thunder storm was about to hit. Ran back outside quickly and got the car in the garage before it started to rain. Damn, couldn't take it out today...

A lot of people have been asking what was used to to lower this car. I took off the right rear wheel to take a look, but now I feel like a dufus. What should I look for? I was hoping to see a stamp or label or something. It looks like the shocks are Monroe, but I think those are what the 993's came with right?
I did find out the wheels are ATP 5-Razze 18" (Made in Italy).

John, Congrats on the car, looks great! You don't see to many of them around this area. I'm just down the road in New Britain Twp. We'll have to get together some time.

It's been a little bit since I've posted...
I just installed some Chris Walrod trim rings that I had gotten back in the fall. Yeah, I move very quickly!
Before, after RPM, and After.

I knew I was going to get called out on that. Almost didn't post the zoomed out pics. So you're not feeling the mats? They have script that says "Carrera 4". That's got to count for something...
Those will be replaced soon. I'm thinking of going with black ones, but not sure yet.
