CDR-210 iPhone Adapter - Any New Tips or Tricks?
Looking for iPhone adapter that also charges.
Model Info: 1997 993. Becker CDR-210. No CD Changer Installed.
I've searched a number of listings on installing an iPhone adapter and looking to see if anyone has any recent suggestions. Things I've already considered (from other posts):
- Upgrading to CDR220
- Sending to Becker for the faceplate modification
- Discountcarstereo.com "iP-BKRCD" (it requires the CD changer to be installed)
- Not the Solisto.de options (not clear if they too require CD changer to be installed.
- Using FM approach
Many thanks.

Eduardo,
I recently purchased an iP-BKR2 for the CDR-220 in my car. If you have the CDR-210, the one you listed looks like the compatible one for your head unit.
The iP-BKR2 one charges and plays through the 'Aux' function. Weird how the iP-BKRCD requires a CD changer to be in place.
I'd seriously consider just going with a Sony, Kenwood, Alpine, Pioneer head unit instead. Sound quality would be better than the CDR-220, plus it would be a whole lot cheaper than going the CDR-220 purchase + faceplate mod + cable.
Bought a Pioneer DEH-80PRS for the other car and so far it's been a nice upgrade from the Sony C90 it replaced. It has all the modern conveniences and has a subdued appearance so it doesn't look out of place in the wife's E430.
