Thanks Grant, email sent.
As I said in the email I must have 25 pics of Chuck's back, he's always talking to someone. I have hundreds of pics of cars but very few of the people. I need to take more photos of the people.

I haven't hung out in the 993 forum regularly in quite some time since I'm between cars, but I met several of the posters here at Whole Hog on your way to Palooza last year. Unfortunately, Chuck didn't make it quite that far so I never got to meet him in person.
The way you all talked about him along with getting to know him here, confirms that the world lost a great guy.
RIP Chuck. Thoughts and prayers to you and your family.

Hi everyone. This is Erich Jacobs, another brother-in-law to Chuck (and Kurt's twin brother). In addition to wanting to personally thank all of you for your kind thoughts, wanted to update you on the service tomorrow. The whole family continues to read this forum for support.
In any event, there will be a special parking area for anyone with a Porsche directly in front of the entrance to the Chapel. Chuck's 993 will be front and center. The family felt it would be a nice touch to have any Porsche's "nose-out" right in front along side Chuck's .
Once again, thanks.
Erich

Erich and Kurt,
Thanks so much for keeping us posted. I think having Chuck's beloved 993 front and center tomorrow is a wonderful and meaningful idea.
Even though most of us will not be able to physically, we assure you we will be there in spirit. Please give our best to the family from the Rennlist family.

Erich and Kurt,
Glad to see you join this fine community. Although I never had the opportunity to meet Chuck in person, we spoke on the phone regularly for several years. As always, he was very supportive when we spoke and I told him about my Dad having to loose a kidney due to a tumor.
He was and continues to be a GREAT person.
I am sure one day we will meet in our journey and swap some 993 duck tales.
God bless both of you and your entire family.

Huge loss to the forum and all who loved him. Definitely a fighter. Causes one to ponder how short life can really be and to live it as one like Chuck did, with passion.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Chuck. It's obvious to see that he had a profound effect on peoples lives. Through the stories I have been inspired and can only dream of having half of his strength.
The world could use more Chucks.

I have been away from the forum and didn't know about this until today. Very sad news I had the pleasure of meeting Chuck in person only once. We were at Cal Turner's gathering in May of 2011. Like others have mentioned, I am guilty of taking pics of the cars and not the people. He also helped me when I was traveling through Mempphis and wanting some good BBQ - advised me on getting in Rendezvous. Great guy. All I can share is this old pic of his car:
