I know that both Hans and I have RUF original wheels - it would be interesting to see if someone with copies can take the same angle shot as Hans has above - and we can see if they are much different.

Of course we are talking visual aspects, not sure about strength, etc.

Cheers,

Mike

Mike I agree that would be a great comparison.
From a distance the ROTtec's don't appear much different but close up reveals that in between the spokes the lip is more square then the RUF's. This to me is the most noticeable between the two.

Here is another angle of the Rottech Rufs, shots 1-3. Mike I think your def right about the dish angle, RUFs a bit more flat.

Also someone mentioned before about the centre caps, with reps OEM and RUF caps fit flush.

3 Pics from our recent Can Am Tour, Jason takes great pics I had to throw in the night underground shot cause it's just so good!

Last pic original RUFs.

I am looking for a set of 18 inch RUF wheels for my 993 TT . Must be great condition. If anybody happens to know where I can still find a set let me know. Thanks in advance.

Yes I did remove that small bulb, it just looks to terrible with them installed esp if your running no bumperettes.

Replaced the fogs with a 5000K super white light too. Much better!

Just so we are all clear I don't think the thread was created as THE RUF wheel thread. We are all fans of the look and style of the wheel.

Not ashamed to admit I've got the Rotec's...loving them and paid way less....so my pocket book is happy for other mods!

I think they are amazing looking for 1/3 to 1/4 of cost is brilliant. Game over if Rottec came out with 18s.

18's or 19's look good IMO, I guess is what ever the person likes or what ever they want to spend, I could buy the 18's If I wanted to, but the only way I will pay $3500-$3800 for a set of 18's is ONLY if I had the RUF conversion and that's just my opinion, you guys can buy what ever bust your bubble, I'm happy with my 19's and that's all that matters to me now let's post some more pictures cause I'm making a RUF wheel album
