^ Chris, just continuing the slide down the slope and finishing off what Rob would have done anyway

As you know, it's fun to tinker, and I've had the opportunity to sell off bits that I'm swapping as I go. You're right though, the costs of this final stage of engine and body work, as well as labour from yours truly, is significant. Having said that, there's the enjoyment of going through the process, and I'm quite sure that I still won't bump up against factory 993 RSR (in good shape) pricing by the time I'm done.

Also, I'd like to think that this will be "better" in some respects than a factory RSR

Did the holes to mount the fenders come predrilled or is this something you will have to do when putting them onto the car?

Yes I agree with you 100% I went to the track once with a real 993 RS and was surprised at how well my car performed. I dont want to sound swell headed, but I thought that he could keep up. Well maybe it wasnt a fair comparison, but his car costs much more than mine

Sorry for the delay... Work and Boxster (air cooled gods please forgive me) track time and maintenance have disrupted the momentum.

In any case, cuts have been made

Hey Matt ..
Heartstopping moments for sure. So, I think you said you bought a spare set of front wings to modify and kept the originals .. what about the rear quarters .. they have to be cut right?

JP, yup, cut the rear quarters. A few more small cuts to be made - rear rocker to be trimmed back, and we'll likely have to do some tweaking to the front fenders once we get the car on the ground and sweep through full lock.

Well, speaking from experience, watching your PnJ being cut with a metal saw can make you anxious .. It's gonna look awesome when your finished though ...
