So meaty! Have you thought about continuing the rear bumper side exhaust cutouts all the way to the center exhaust? I think it'd really clean up the rear end.

I'm too jealous. Had to find something to nit pick...

Agree... but might expose the muffler too much (997 cup muff). Gotta look at it this winter.

Ok cool stuff, here are some new drop link mounts from Tarett.

Threaded and clamp - so reduce the common undesirable rotation, especially on the driver's side. I used to run double lock rings above & below my previous mounts and they still would spin. These have stayed put - so far, so good

I've sent an email to Ira asking if he can make a set that have two pinch bolts to better spread the clamping load.

As pictured the midsection of the droplinks are a little short. I now have 3.5" replacements which will further improve angles and reduce jacking effect. Will post follow-up pics.

Cool car. Curious, is the lower bushing in the Moton shock a monoball or a sleeve? Looking at your set-up, the lower portion of the shock will twist in response to movement of the drop link / bar. A longer link will help but constraining the shock might make the bar more responsive, during its initial movement at least..

Lower shock mount is a heim joint. I suspect it needs to be so to allow multiplane movement of the upright re. suspension travel.

MCS supplies some delrin (or similar) bushings that go behind the shock body on the bottom universal joint to keep the shock from rotating during the initial force from the anti roll bar. Seems to work pretty well.

Where did you source the bumper from? Is it a Getty piece?

Indeed, the kits comes with a pair of teflon spacers which are installed next to the bottom spherical bearing on each side. These are designed to limit shock rotation, thus ensuring the integrity of the droplinks.

^ Steve, sent you an email.

Bill, the splitter won't be that manly. Just templating and then will trim down to about 2/3s of that. Matching the wing and will tune with gurney + angle. Will likely increase spring rate to 800/1000.

Jstyer, bumper is sourced from a company called Extreme Dimensions that sadly isn't making 993 bumpers anymore

Update...

Day 1 at Mosport yesterday with the new motor.

Upgraded to 6-cup crank, lightweight pistons & matching rods, capricorn cylinders (true 3.8), freshened heads, and lighter valve spring retainers.

Ridonculous

Will try to get some video this weekend.
