An Avant is the perfect combination with a 993, my daily car is a RS6 PLUS. That car is really great and a very, very fast "tank", but it's not sportive anymore...

That's the way to do it. You'll love the area.

They used to have this section on the west side called the Bus Runs (I think it's lift served now). You'd ski down to a pull out, and a bus would take you back to the lift. I lost a ski in there, in about two feet of powder. Took us a long time to find it.

My original Avant was an S6, I'm now on my second S4 they are a great mix of utility and performance. Not too many drawbacks unless you have to sit in the back seat.

A 997 GT3 or a 997 turbo on the Autobahn is not a really problem. Even the noise of the wind just starts at 190 mph, a GSM-intercom at 180 mph is no problem at all...
