9m93RS-R or 9m93GT2 Evo LHD Clubsport? Shell done already.
At the risk of posting another boring "how 9m build another 9mRS" thread, this one has a bit of a twist because we're not sure yet what we are building. I'll explain.
With the latest Maritime Blue 9m93RS CS well and truly on the way to completion and with the fabrication of RP's 9m94 Speedster S completed & awaiting e-coat the fabrication shop was left with a clear slot for a couple of weeks which we wanted to fill. We have got another RHD Speedster to build for ourselves and we have scheduled a winter restoration of a 2.4S rally car but because these will need a lot of Marc's attention, whilst he's busy in the assembly shop we set about looking for a quicker project that we could leave Owen building on his own for a couple of weeks whilst we were away.
The decision was going to be an easy one as me and Marc have a RHD 964 shell in stock so the choice was initially to build another 9m64RS, however when a friend in the trade offered us a s/r LHD S shell how could we possibly decline the possibility of building another widebody 9m93RS-R Clubsport? Of course, then we got to thinking and because the finished shell will be the same as a 993GT2 evo CS and because we just happen to have a 993TT box on the shelf, if we sourced a 993TT engine we could also build the car as a 2wd 9m93GT2 evo. Decisions, decisions.
No rush though, Owen has just finished the fabrication work we will have to wait a couple of months before we can get it e-coated so don't expect many updates in the meantime!

Rather sad as a 204hp roadgoing Boxster conversion, a ***** out 993 tubbed / spaceframe racer using these body moulds is something else however:

Then again....never going to be the real thing.

Colin - there is no risk of that happening, unless of course you start a thread about oil or engine undertrays. All of your 9m threads are informative and quite enjoyable to look at - a real asset to rennlist... now carry on

Ok, then my vote is an evo GT2 in Continental Orange, real Speedlines with Orange calipers, black interior with Orange seat inserts, stitching, belts and pulls ... You know ... something subtle.... (in bed)

Hey Colin, Cannot wait to see this one grow and develop.
The roll cage you install, is it a copy of the Mater cage from the 993RSCS / 993RSR / 993GT2Evo ?
