I just discovered this show recently. Although I admire and respect Wayne's love and deep knowledge of all things cars, he has the TV charisma of an old oil pump. Carini must be Italian for wet blanket

And now back to Rennlist Restoration...

He has done all of my cars. He never fails to exceed any expectation you could have. Simply amazing. Those who live in NE are fortunate to have him around.

What a great story and great find. Can't wait to hear more. I always thought that New England was the one place you could drive a Porsche that looked like it had been around and it would still be considered cool. At least that's how it was when I was in school back there years ago.

See "Californicaiton" for definition of cool dirty and Porsche.

It's kind of crazy that 993s are old enough to be in this condition now. I, and I'm sure others, appreciate your effort in getting this baby back going. You are going to want to roll it off a cliff occasionally, but stick with it and it will be worth it!

Good luck

Guys, maybe we should all get together and visit Christian to see this thing, eh? Say, Saturday the 22nd I don't see to have any autocrosses, so I'm game.
I'm in for the 22nd if the weather is good for a spin in the 993.

Default I want your car

Ok Christian J I'm just going to throw this out here since you mentioned you sorta like Italian bikes.

I own/operate a specialty bike sales shop. I have in stock a new, never started MV Agusta F4 750 Oro edition. #145/300. Jay Leno has one. Eraldo Ferracci has one. The King of Spain has one. Etc.

Bonhams sold one with 2k kilos earlier this year in Paris for about $51k US funds:

Oh that's just not fair. I suppose you'd have Halle Berry deliver it too. the truth is I am not the guy to own a collector bike that's never been started and I absolutely love the MV, especially the 750 vs the 1000. I have a 748s, MH900e and 2 250's and they all get ridden hard.
I'd BUY a used later-year 750 but thats a separate conversation. But seriously,
you are a bad man. I haven't even driven this car yet! Sheesh.

Guess you can't blame a guy for trying. I ride an Aprilia Tuono Factory and there is just something about Italian motorbikes. They have SOUL.
