Default Fabspeed or Fister?

I am trying to decide which exhaust to go with for the C2S. I had fabspeed with 200 cell cats on my 997 and loved the aggressive sound. It seems that from my searches the fister is the most popular here. I love an aggressive sound, so a stage three would be the only way to go if I went with fister. Does anyone have experience with both systems? How does the sound compare from one to the other?
Thanks,
Chris

My '95 has the Fabspeed mufflers and my C2S had the stock motorsound cans which I sent to F-D for their transformation into Stage III's with black satin ceramic. Without a doubt, the Stage III's win out. No rattles, no droning, aggressive and authoritative at start-out and acceleration but docile at steady throttle. You will not be disappointed.

I have Fabspeed supercups on my car and I like them, but they are loud all the time. Idle, WOT, cruising - loud. And you will get vibration and droning at certain rpms.

I have the Fister Stage III's on my wife's C2S and I like them, as well. they are loud when you want them to be (not as loud as the supercups, though), but if you roll up the windows to cruise down the highway you barely notice them. No droning. I find the sound much more refined than the supercups.

I've installed a ton of fabspeed stuff on pretty much every Porsche out there and continue to do so. They make a great exhaust kit for most of the cars, even the 993's......but.......they just don't compare to the sound of the LPMM or Fister mod on the 993.

If you want no droning and a nice guy to deal with. Fister and only Fister.

FD. way to many satisfied customers to ignore, not to mention Rennlist sponsors and all around great guys.

Nothing against Fabspeed, but just too much good Karma for FD.

+1. Have had the RSRs and Stage 1 and 3 Fisters. Go with the Fisters.

Just based on customer service and helping out the nice, small sponsor of RL, go with Fister. Aside from that, I would go with Fister anyway from the reviews and sound clips.

Stage III ceramic black is the better choice and is installed on my personal 993.

Can anyone (Roger, others) compare RSRs with Stages 1, 2 and 3?

I'm not an exhaust fan, but I've been thinking... (no I do not fall to peer pressure... much).

peer pressure isn't ALWAYS a negative. I think that is why Darin and Mark are so respected particularly on this board, because they truly have a high quality product, stand behind it and have great customer relations. I honestly cannot think of any dissatisfied customers...EVER. The FDM guys do it right.

One of these days I am pretty sure I will succumb to Stage IIIs, but I don't really mind a relatively quiet Porsche. Our other P-cars were quite loud. for now, a drilled airbox gives me a low rumble that satisfies me...at least for now.
