Fiero Mera F 308 replica?
This one is down the street from me. Absolutely no reason why a car guy needs to be interested, but it sorta gets your attention. A little more money than I thought: http://losangeles.craigslist.org/wst...344415184.html
Personally, if I was going to do a replica, I'd save a bit more and get a Beck...

there was a Testarossa replica on a Fiero chassis around Syracuse...back when both were popular.
While the kit was very well done, there was simply no getting around the fact that the Fiero was probably 2/3 the size of the Ferrari. The scale was simply too far off.
Now, putting a 930 kit on a VW bug...that's worth the time and effort!

That screams "I can't afford the real thing".
Now, there is no harm in my mind with a Beck 904 or a Cobra kit, like an FFR. Most can't afford those, and you can build a capable car with ome of those.
