Default Help: Recaro Pole Position install

For those who have installed Recaro Pole Positions and still have the original seatbelts. Do I need a special bracket to mount the seatbelt to the floor/rail/bracket? As it stands, I cannot fasten the seatbelt at the original position.

If I do need this bracket, where can I purchase this?

Thank you very much for the help

IIRC I used the rear seatbelt receptors on mine, and bolted them to the mounting point of the bracket with the seat. Also you may want to run the seat belt through the outside lap belt hole. It will hold you in place better.

Not sure on price, try Ebay and dismantlers for that. If you're getting used ones make sure they are from a 993 because the seat belt standards changed several times in the 90s.

I used part 964.521.065.00 (RS tunnel side seat belt anchor) https://rennlist.com/forums/993-foru...-question.html with my SPG seats. Worked well.

Thank you for the help sofar. This is what I wanted to do. The L bracket goes under the rail and the receptor is attached to the L bracket. Thoughts?

Correct, you need another bolt though, also I used the rear seat belt receptacle too because I wanted mine down below the seat side hole so that there would be no interference w/ a 6pt harness. But one of the 997 receptacles might be a better choice if you don't run dual street/race setups, they come in several different lengths

These are the 997 receptacles

the whole shebang mounted in the car, you can see how low the 993 rear receptacle is

most of us mount the RS mount between the siderail and the slider, not under the slider, you want it to move w/ the seat

the whole thing assembled before installation
