DME Fuel/Timing adjustment switch
Some Porsche Digital Motor Electronics (DME) units have rotary switches that allow adjustment of fuel and/or timing advance. See this link for more details

Shows access port for switch:

Does anyone know if the 993 DME have this switch? I looked at the DME unit under the driver seat and didn't see the hole for the rotary switch access, but maybe its accessible from inside the DME?
The DME switch allows setting the fuel richness upto + or - 6.3% and/or timing by upto -2.79%.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Bill,
That feature was used on 3.2 Carrera's only.
The 3.6-powered cars had no such option since the Motronic FI had features that did the same things, only using knock-sensors and software.
