I agree. The current Covid-19 pandemic and the current economic conditions will substantially drop the demand and the value for non essential items.
Cars, boats, aircraft will be affected. I would not buy a car with the current uncertainty.

Hard to establish a meaningful price for such a nice Porsche right now. Bad time to be selling, good time to buy. People who have money are hanging on to it, while they watch their investments melt. The best Blue Chip things are losing value--even my major retirement portfolio Beanie Baby collection isn't worth what it once was...

The car is 4 hours from me so pics are tough. I have looked at the car many times over the years. Pretty sweet.
Owned by a client who bought it in 2004. No history meaning no body damage, floods... etc. I sniffed around and thought $44,000. would be a fair selling price. Owner agreed. The dark blue is metallic. Full tan leather.
He also has a 2017 Targa with 1,700 miles that he needs the space.

I agree on the Covid-19 effect on values however a 993 with 33,000 miles and the right color should have a willing buyer local. Maybe last year there were 8 buyers quickly but we only need one.
I emailed my Porsche salesman at the local dealership and he has been furloughed. He started there when they built the place. Sad times

He didn't need space in 2017, 2018, 2019 and the first quarter of 2020? I would ask the seller that question and report the seller's response. I am interested in his story .

I would suggest putting a paint meter on the car to determine if paint is original. also would suggest a ppi as can easily spend 10 -30 k on these cars for maintenance (higher end includes top end rebuild which is common on these cars, although often with higher mileage). How old are the tires?
