If you're set on slate grey you may have to wait a long time....I've know only of 3 that I've either seen on Rennlist or in person (one of which was a sweet turbo with red interior). You'll have a better chance with Ocean Blue but it's also one of the rarer colors.

Good luck with the search...patience will be key!

David,

Thank you for the reply. Yes, I am not in a rush and I will wait for the perfect bride before I commit. I would consider a black on grey or black on black but I believe that I want a 993 that I will be excited to wake to in the morning and make any normal day task an adventure just because I am behind the wheel of my German soul mate.

Until then, I am storing the information and knowledge for all of your guy's (and gal's) posts and look foward to tormenting the streets of Seattle.

Default Take a look! '97 993 C2 NB

Mine is not C4 or C4S, but is a beautiful example with some hard to find factory options.

Can you share more about your car and what you are asking for?

Why is it that the Porsche 993 grey carpets always have a touch of pink after some time?
Though I really like the grey seats, I opted for a black interior for that reason.

Do they look like that in real life or just in digital photos?

No, they look like that in real life. I thought my eys were playing tricks on me when I saw one in real life.
The UV must play hell with the carpet dyes.
Hopefully some grey interior owners will chime in.

This is my second Classic Grey interior 911. Neither of mine, current or the '93 Roadster I had, look pink in appearance. But, I am a guy who cannot stand lifeless dead old looking black interior cars like my second 997 had. To quote my mother, "That looks like an old man's 911".

I much prefer the lighter interiors overall. However, I have had two brown or cocoa color interior 911's, and even though they are darker in appearance, they look much better than black. Much richer in appearance to me.

Car is not necessarily for sale. If someone wanted to step up and truly understands what I have and what is costs for an example like mine, then I would let it go and move on to the next one. I love finding very nice clean cars and making them even nicer. With that said, here are some particulars on mine.

20,300 current miles. I am fourth owner. My car is gorgeous! Purchased it in April of this year for $42k and it had 18,800 miles on it. Then, like I always do, went down the proverbial slippery slope. So the RH Alurad Turbo twist wheels-caps-tires -bolts, inner and outer door seals, outer windshield seal, floor mats, hard wiring for V1, C2S split grill, fog lights, headlight lenses, wiper arms and nozzles, CDR 220, clear side markers, painted bumperettes from bumperplugs.com, RS SSK, new rear reflector, battery, PSS9's, 2 new remotes, E-Brake tray and stone guards. I have a lot into it.

I have the window sticker. Car was $73,678 new. Has the following factory options: Ocean Blue Metallic Paint, LSD/ABD, Alum/Leather Shifter&Brake Handle, Alum/Chrome Package X71-X70-X54, Motor Sound Package, Hi-Fi Sound Package.

I have records, books, etc. Front bumper was resprayed because of chips by Park Place in Seattle. That is the dealer I purchased it from.

Make me an offer if you are serious. All service is up to date. You could speak to Jim, my mechanic, at the local Porsche dealer. He loves my car!

Concours winner this fall. Scored a 100 points.

More garage queen then anything else. Yes, there are many of us out here who love them that way.

Thanks for the explanation. I am looking for a daily driver sorry did not know your car had such low mileage. Hopefully I can find a car setup like yours with more miles, because it ticks all the right boxes.

Thanks.
