I'm guessing our friends at Tag-Heuer may have a slight problem with this.

Fake sub-dials, clear copyright violation... have I missed something?

Somehow, I don't think Heuer reps are active on this board

For a brief moment I thought we had stumbled upon elusive unobtanium 993 sport chrono package with lap timer analogue style

so i saw one of these Waltham Aircraft chronometers in the recent issue of Road&Track:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Airplane-WW-...k/161777433839

shoe-horning this in would be much more appealing to me....

This is cheaper and better looking. The ticking sound will drive you nuts, though:

that is pretty cool, nile13, but i really like the idea of a 24-hour clock.

not to say i'm not immediately going to ebay looking for the one you posted.

The one I posted is generally known as MIG-21 clock, though there's a number of variations. Among other things it was used on submarines. See that little white square on the top sub-dial? It turns white or red depending on day or night, so this is kind of a 24-hour clock

You can pick one up for around $100 or less, generally. Mine was a present, but there's a whole bunch of them floating around for not a whole lot of money.

Russian 24-hour clocks are also available. It's usually model 55M with Molnia (Molnija) caliber 66970 inside, like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/129-ChS-55M-...eeb65a&vxp=mtr Not as antithetically pleasing to my eye as older ones, but still fairly cool.

Default Cool TAG clock - sorry, chronograph

Dumb question maybe but will that actually fit in the stock clock location?
