Default FOR SALE - CDR-220 w/faceplate change/i-Pod cable/RCA's

$275.00 USD Shipped to CONUS/CANADA

I bought this CDR-220 from fellow Rennlister Chuck W. a few months back. I sent the radio faceplate to Becker North America and had the $100.00 faceplate change done. The radio and CD player operate perfectly. I just went ahead and made the jump to an Alpine iDA-X305 becaue it fits my needs better. This is CDR-220 comes with:
  • Head unit with detachable faceplate (faceplate upgrade done)
  • Removal keys
  • Owner's manual (downloaded copy not original)
  • i-Pod cable
  • RCA, remote wire jack

Here is the link to Becker Radio on the i-Pod cable. http://www.beckerautosound.com/Porsc...CDR%20220.html
I have a 5th generation Nano and found out through Becker that this 5th gen i-pod will not work due to pin configuration on the cable. The RCA plug that I have IS NOT the one pictured in the website. The one pictured in the website is for an i-Pod or other external accessory. The RCA's that I have are for and external amplifier application and come with all 4 RCA jacks as well as a remote wire. This way you can have a factory head unit and run an amp. I have a 1995 model and I needed this jack to make the CDR-220 work (the harness is different in the 95 if you have a CR-1) I think, and you may need to verify this, that this is a direct plug and play if you have a CR-210 and newer. Here are the pics of the CDR-220 and all other accessories.

1st PM I get confirming purchase is who gets the radio. I will sell in order of PM's received.

Mike

Mike,

Since I didn't get to see your car at Palooza, you have to change your avatar back or put a picture of it in your sig.

45 minutes. Great upgrade for those of us wanting to retain the OEM look and have iPod capability.

I'll get a new Avatar up in due time. Just enjoyed the "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" icon that we saw so much of last week. Just wanted to keep the memory fresh I missed going to Palooza and seeing everyone as well, but the impending relocation to Nashville, TN has taken a lot of time and needed to focus my attention on that. The good news is I will be there next year as I can ride in with Bill and meet Chuck on they way. I have to see the CGT. I was really looking forward to that and the possible lottery ride.

Mike
