39E and 3AG are both the same Riviera Blue, the 3AG indicates a water based paint system was used.

Hey Bill, sent you a pm on another subject.

What's interesting is, there are several paint colors listed with the water based 'Pearl Effect' designation and, to me, there is only one that is obviously different visually, and that is Speed Yellow 12G v.s. Speed Yellow Pearl Effect 12H. 12H has that 'oil sheen on water' look to it, at least that's what I've noticed, and always wondered what paint color/code it was. But the Riv Blue, Blue Turquoise, Guards Red, Grand Prix White and Black also list this water based variant in addition to the 'regular' codes and I don't recall seeing any examples where any of these other colors looked 'Pearl effect' to me.

Anyway, I don't care if your car has a sunroof, Bill, anytime you're interested in selling it, call me first please.

Default factory's Carrera commercial

17 seconds into their short ad, Porsche pays homage to these blue beauties (& especially Arena993 Mike's Jelly Belly avatar!)

Curve Lover, Jerry's C4S pics are some that I've never seen before. Ditto with the 993RS. Got anymore?

^^ Tim-- I hope you liked those; posts 35 & 36 were my 'highlight roll.' The last of the "LAST" pix. I'll dig for more, but don't know if I'll find 'em. In the meantime, posts 17, 18, 20, & 21 feature his Mexico Blue C4S, too.

Not Jerry's, but very enjoyable ...

^^ I hear Rapunzel digs Porsches, Dan. Are you her knight in shining blue?

No continuing castle theme here; plenty more cool blue
