Default WTB RoW turbo sway bars (22mm/21mm)

I am about to install PSS10s on my '96 NB C2 and was thinking I may as well go for a sway bar upgrade while I'm in there. Does anyone have a set of used/new RoW turbo bars 22mm front and 21mm rear for sale?

Also, will I need new drop links?

Thank you in advance.

Bob-

They come with new rear links. Your existing stock front links will work. I just installed my new PSS10s and H&R sway bars. The front sway bar would be more difficult to change at a later date. It was pretty easy with the struts and springs out.

I'm not completely sure what comes in the PSS10 kit yet. It gets delivered next week. Based on Matt's very recent experience, it sounds like I get new rear links with the kit and the oem front link will work with a new bar.

Thanks Matt

Still looking to pick up some RoW turbo sway bars.

Cool

That is correct! It worked on mine! I used the supplied droplinks in the rear. No problem whatsoever. Here is a pic of what is in the box (minus the manual).

I think you only need different droplinks when you lower the car excessively. You would (in that case) need the curved RS ones to clear the suspension arm if i remember correctly...

Enjoy,

Enjoy,
You only use the RS drop links if you have an RS or TRG adjustable rear bar that mounts UNDER the toe arm instead of above as is the case with the factory bars, including the M030.

Are the lever arms on these sway bars physically different that the other sway bars? (other than diameter and extra holes)

Yes totally different shape as they are designed to go under the toe arm. This mean that yes the lever arms are also different to accomodate the different geometry.

Couple of other things. The front TT bar is the same as any M030 bar out of a NA car. The rear ROW sway is only 1 mm thicker than the M030. The ROW bar is also double the cost of the M030 (Essentially $400 vs $200 list). Yes the stiffness of the bars goes to the square of the diameter yada yada. But unless your name ends in Schumaker, most people won't notice a difference.

Bob,

Will having 22mm in the front and 20mm in the back be prone to understeer? Can these two bars be used with standard drop links of a non-M030 car? Thanks!

Regards,

Kevin

Bob-
I bought a set from Paragon in Texas last year.
They had VERY favorable pricing and provided great service.

give them a call.

The anti-sways were a bolt-in install with no mod's on my C4S.
I used stock front drop links and Bilstein rear.

cheers

I am assuming you are addressing Viper Bob?

I'm pretty sure our cars already understeer with the oem setup. The bigger bar on the rear (larger than oem) should help mitigate this problem. This Bob is no expert tho.

I talked to Bob today as I ordered M030 sways and Bilsteins from him. This is the 22mm front and 20mm rear. From what I gathered, the 20mm in the rear does not adversely affect the balancing of the car, however I am talking about street use while you may be looking for other uses.

Regards,

Kevin
