This tread brings me back to fond memories growing up in the San Fernando Valley. Started off on a Big Wheel and later moved on to a Taco mini bike. I loved that mini bike and it’s whopping 2hp Briggs and Stratton motor.

Nope, didn't have'em when I was a kid. Both of my sons did and I enjoyed them vicariously through my sons. My youngest started out on a little tiney one. He was a real Driftmeister on it. They had a rocking Cosey Coup as well, they loved it too even though it could have been improved with a steering rack and a couple tie rods.

I never had one, but my three year-old granddaughter has one sitting out in my garage just behind the 993. Much to the frustration of everyone else in the family, I always seem to "forget" to make her wear her helmet.

I had 2 of the original Big Wheels, A Krazy Car- That was the best until my mom drove over it- ( I was 5 and still remember the burn I felt!!) and we bought a Green machine for our boys when they were little- they're 23 and 19 now and we handed the Green Machine to the neighbor kid 2 years ago- That thing rocked! Mini bikes- had those too! nothing fancy tho- mine had a Briggs and Stratton 5 HP motor and would do 40 miles per hour! Was pretty fast for a total POS!!! wish I still had one!!
