How are your H1 (or HID/Litronic) headlights secured?
I opened up my headlights, and found that one didn't have an H1 bulb securing clip at all. The other headlight had the original clip.
I discovered this in the process of figuring out how to install my HID / Litronic H1 replacements, ballasts and ignitors. The base of the new Xenon bulbs is made out of plastic, which makes it a little harder to drill or otherwise secure.
In a search, I found this:

It turns out that there was a TSB for replacing the wire clips with something that worked a little better. What do Rennlisters have on their cars, or what do you recommend? How should I secure it so that I can properly aim it?
Should I get (2) of the 000 043 204 28 Repair kits? Or do something else?
Thanks in advance!

I used the repair kits and have been very happy with the results.

Reference Rich's photo...
I did a similar thing except that in addition to the re-bend on the clip, I took a piece of four-strand solid copper telephone wire, stripped the insulation off one strand and then twisted it around the clip and the hold-down (Seen between the 12:00 o'clock arrow and the 1:00 o'clock arrow on Rich's photo) so that even if the heat from the buld weakened the clip, the bulb was held in place. Works like a charm and if I need to replace a bulb, it's one simple snip with a wire cutter and the clip is loose.
