I am trying to figure out how much to ask for the wrecked stripped 993 I got along with the above car. Any ideas on a price? Places to sell it? None of the fenders are straight and it's full of 10 pounds of raccoon poop. Looking for opinions Sorry if I'm not in the right thread/topic.
New to the 993 world or Porsche for that matter. Spent the last 15 years buying and restoring old BMW's, 3.0cs, 2002's. Always put profits in an account. the right 993 came up and I jumped on it. Was looking hard at the 996's due to price but was happy to land the 993. I'll post a pic when I figure it out.

Purchased from Dealer. No accident history. I bought from original owner, he bought it in Germany. Have every piece of documentation back to Day 1, including every fuel receipt (!), maintenance records, registration certificates, photos from factory delivery, all documentation including original window sticker, all keys and key ID number, German plates, always in garage, California car, never driven in weather, an absolute museum piece. 100% original... except brand new battery and zero mileage Michelins.
Check out Fuelist's database. Data are gathered from ebay auction sales. (Click on data point, and see the photo and details of the car that sold through ebay).
My guess is these Fuelist valuations will be biased lowered than valuations from sales gathered from rennlist, PCA Pano Mart, or Pelican?

3rd owner bought the 911 on August 2004 from the 2nd owner who apparently bought it sometime after 2001. Mileage when he bought it was 67728, present mileage is 76671. When he bought new engine and clutch purchased from Porsche had been installed approximately 500 miles before he bought it. Apparently the 2nd owner did not perform expected engine maintenance resulting in necessary engine replacement in July 2004. Records supporting the repair and replacement of the engine and clutch as well as other engine components available. The engine is definitely a new engine, not a rebuilt from Porsche which records support. Vehicle repainted in April 2005 since the exterior appearance needed attention from just normal wear and tear. No accidents to the best of owner knowledge. The vehicle has been garaged and under cloth cover without any winter driving.
The car's location can have an impact on price as well. Here in Socal, they seem to ask... and get a premium price. Not sure about your location on the east coast. Based on my most recent searches of what is for sale (last night), I would guess the low to mid 40's for that car... maybe slightly more here in Socal.
I have to think the history of an engine replacement and a repaint are going to make a lot of potential buyers skittish. There's likely one or more stories behind this car that aren't included in your post.

wow, your car is gorgeous. a lot going for it for sure, but is it a 6-speed? other minor details will be # of owners and records. The market is very hot for this car.
