Annoying DS door rattle in my Cab
I am trying to figure out how to adjust the driver side door so that it stops rattling on rough roads. We have a lot of cobblestone around here and it is driving me crazy. When I drive, if I put my hand outside on the door handle, I can feel the door moving. Any suggestions?
Thanks

You can try messing with the position of the door striker. You need one of those 12 pt, inset-type tools. Can't recall name atm.
I'd outline the position of the strker to start so you can get back where you started.
Idid this on my 964 cab and had some success but there is a fine line between a good, solid closing door and rattling.
Bottom line, cabs are not as rigid as coupes. I think it adds character

I had this and fixed it, well an interim fix anyway. It's a very annoying rattle.
I just got some paper and formed it to fit inside the striker plate. It was quite thin. Crammed it in there and no more rattle.
I know now I need a new striker plate. They wear out.
Try it just to make sure that's what it is.
