Default FS: 18" BBS LM in C4S, TT Fitment

Hey Guys,

My boss has asked me to sell his BBS LM wheels for him, which he has removed from his 993 C4S (soon to be for sale, as well). The wheels were used for less than 3k miles, and are absolutely MINT...no scuffs, curbs, dings, scratches, etc..just flawless.

They are 18x8.5 front and 18x11 rear, both with an et56 offset. The rears are made to fit through the use of a spacer (as originally supplied by BBS for this application) as well as longer lug bolts to accomodate these spacers.

The wheels are 2-piece forged, weighing 22.3 pounds (front) and 24 lbs (rear). Currently Tirerack has them for sale at $792/wheel (front) and $944/wheel (rear). Meaning this package is worth $3472 new, which these wheels might as well be.

The wheels will be shipped in their original boxes with original packing materials.

I want to get $2,000 + shipping for this set, and the wheels are located in Northern New Jersey (Ho-Ho-Kus) if anyone is interested in a local pickup.

Pictures below, and thankyou for looking:

Without the rear spacers and rolled fenders, might they fit a NB?

I have 10x18 Fikses on the rear and they just barely fit. My 8x18 fronts are getting some mild rubbing with 245 Hoosiers. I can go to an 8.5 front but the extra half an inch would need to be on the inside and away from the fender lip. So, 'nother words, no deal for me.

Possibly...depending on the shoulder profile of the tires you are using and how slammed your car is. The increased width and reduced offset will decrease your outboard clearance by about 22mm, which is a little less than an inch. Rolling your fenders will give you an extra 1/4"-3/8", so the net decrease in clearance if you roll your fenders will be about 16mm. Also keep in mind that you will not be able to use anything less than a 285 on the rear so if you currently have 265s you will need new tires and your car will understeer more. Good luck

Just a head's up: when I had mine mounted, it took three hours to install the longer lugbolts, my porsche mechanic really had a tough time...

not sure why it took your mechanic 3 hours. the fronts mount with no spacer and the rears have a spacer with studs protruding. basically, the spacer mounts to the hub and then the wheel mounts to the spacer. put the lugs on and your done. never took me more than a half hour to swap out all four.

You should SERIOUSLY consider finding a new mechanic..as stated above, this is really a very simple R&R job, that anyone should be able knock out fairly quickly, not to mention a "porsche mechanic".
