Back when I had a 993 my favorite wheels ended up being the 16" Carrera Cup wheels that were standard equipment on the car when it was introduced. I later went to 17"s and while they were marginally better on the track, they were a pain in real world roads. Now that I have a 996 it seems that 17s are the new 16s. And before I bought the 996 I was looking at a 964 and one of the things that attracted me to it was the 16"s.

+1 agreed, in all honesty that blue is a buy; 2014.

When working through the spec' and order of the 993 I'd drag my wife around various Porsche dealerships on the east and west coast in an effort to view various colors. .. Quote... "what a waste of time! You know, I know, the American people know you will pick silver. Every car we own is silver ....WTF,, you guys are Porsche stupid" end quote by Ingrid Schneider.
Me: "have you ever counted your pairs of black leather dress shoe's? Yeah, I rest my case. LoL" Arctic silver metallic over black leather everywhere was ordered. A classic aesthetic for any car.

Fast forward 16 years and that is one B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L blue 993 coupe. See post # 1. Today I would order this, no question. Remain a Cup II 17" wheel fan though ...its the understated classic aesthetic

See #1 post 993 picture.
