Finally picked up the Carrera III wheels & installed them. Clearly they are a LOT easier to clean and they fill the wheel wells better than the OE Targa wheels. BUT, their diameter is slightly greater. Looks like about 1/4" . So, the car needs to go lower.
Before & after pics below.
BTW, I'm looking for recommendations for a shop to restore the OE wheels which will only be used for Concours & shows. Two recommendations so far: Glenn's Wheel Repair here in Tampa who I have used before for road wheels, and Wheel Enhancement, the Pano advertiser in Culver City, CA.
Any suggestions? Recommendations?

Thanks for Tech Bulletin. Applies to '95 & '96. Nothing said about '97 or '98. Clearly Targas are not "approved" for 18" wheels. But, that won't take me back to those impossible-to-clean OE wheels for daily driving.
I remember reading about the bracket a while ago. Don't remember where.
