I'm adding about 1/3qt every 1k miles, just turned over 70k miles a few weeks ago.

I know that this is an old poll, but man some of those numbers seem disconcerting for cars back in 04 ...or is it just me?!
FWIW, I'm at ~148k miles and add about 1qt/2500 miles on my daily-driven (with exhuberance) '95 ...and mine leaks a tad on the garage floor so it's not even purely consumption. I wonder if mine is an anomaly, I'm just lucky, or some of those on that poll don't represent the norm??
