Did anyone else notice that carschmitt.com registerd on rennlist...TODAY (April 7)! John B. did you mention rennlist to him at some point during your "negotiations"? How did he know to show up today?

I am sorry that I responded as I should have known that no one would believe the "dealer". We were very sincere in our efforts and do strive to take care of people. You are right about one thing. We do have a few Better Business Bureau complaints. We receive about 100 emails per day, 200 phone calls per day and sell 100 cars per month. As hard as we try, you just can't please everybody. Any of you in business will know and understand this. Many of you will see, that we have an absolutely perfect feedback rating on Ebay. 121 people have left very positive feedback about our company. That is a very hard feat to accomplish. That would by impossible by doing things that this guy said. We have one of the largest Porsche inventories in the entire country and will do our very best to help everyone who is in the market. Thank you.

After the deal had crashed, I did mention this list, and the fact there had been some questions raised in the past. Jamie, the decent sales guy, was familiar with Rennlist, but was not an active user.
BTW "Oxidized paint" was never mentioned at the dealer.

Zenith Blue, what a crock of cow paddies. They obviously had another buyer, for the other Porsche, at a profit no doubt.
Dealership salespeople: (doesn't apply to all) Spinless bottom dwellers.
When I do business with unkown sellers (dealerships) I make it a point to find out their business rating. If favorable I proceed with caution, if it comes back negative. I abort the deal no matter how sweet it may seem.
In the future, make a contract prior to trade. Enter a clause that if the "trader" declines, you have a right to monentary compensation. Travel expenses and time spent. If the trader declines on such a contract, walk away. This usually means the trader has reservations and is most likely wasting your time.
In the post trade experience, call the BBB and file a complaint.
12 complaints a year for the last three years and only 9 resolved for Smhitt?.
The BS from Smhitt, about you can't please everyone, is fresh BULLSH@@T. They are obviously over their head in debt and their secret motto is - sell at what ever the cost no matter who you **** off.

Every business and every person makes mistakes; that's life. But when there are so many bad experiences associated with your dealership, a somewhat impartial observer has to wonder why your dealership is regularly lambasted, while others receive kudos and gratitude.
In the old days, before the internet, information was dispersed very slowly. Perhaps you will soon come to the realization that you are running a business in a new age, and that it doesn't take much effort for a sullied reputation to be disseminated to others.

Really ... best thing for you now is to go and lay low for a while then come back later when things have cooled down and become a positive contributor to this site. And before you shrug it off, look at your user #. That's right, there are 13,339 Porsche fans ahead of you. If you want this to be advertising for you, read the rules like Mark said and become an official sponsor. (That costs money - that you don't rip up.) Posting your ebay feedback is more like a doctor hanging a GED certificate on his office wall. It doesn't mean car**** next to the BBB records and statements from fellow Rennlisters.

How many people have you made deals with outside of your auctions through ebay that you have pissed off? It appears through the various threads that you guys always try to negotiate a deal with a sucker while your auction is live. If you **** them off or treat them like ****, they cannot post feedback because they did not win the auction.
