Default Porsche luggage for the 993

Anyone got any of the Porsche luggage that they sold for the 993?

I'd like some photos of possible...and to know if anyone is selling!

Thanks

For all the enthusiasm of all things 993 I'm surprised that this subject has gotten so little discussion. Did Porsche ever make fitted luggage for the 993? Has anyone actually seen it? I would imagine it is rare and
pricey if it's out there.

Yes, I'm amazed as well. I have used Tumi's carry-on garment bag, like this one: http://www.tumi.com/product/index.js...ndSrc=paramNav. Fits perfectly in the front trunk.

Did some searching a while back. Didn't come up with any 993 stuff available on the bay or classified.

Perhaps you are thinking of the Singer custom luggage

Porsche did make custom luggage sets for some models. Just not sure if the 993 was ever one of them.

That's got to be the ugliest luggage set I have ever seen.

Cool, here's one slightly cheaper: http://www.retroclassiccarparts.com/...or-porsche-993

Looks like bespoke luggage is a British thing. Wonder if I can get this in tweed....

Hi Brian,

I think this is exactly the same product - IOW, it is actually the hillsalive product.

I think you're right, it's just cheaper. Manufacturer probably keeps price high so as not to undercut resellers?

Nice find. Looks like it won't fit CD-player equipped cars, and wonder if there is a version for such, as well as different fuel tank sizes.
