Take it to your local expert XPEL installer NOT your dealer. They will be able to fix it without replacing the film.

My Cayman was keyed so bad that it required body filler = both sides. I had parked it in a Baltimore parking garage while having dinner. I'll never go back to Baltimore. Never.

I'm really trying to picture how you knew it was a vaginal imprint on your 993? Not doubting you. Just thinking I wouldn't recognize such a thing that far out of the usual context.

The PPF guys at the dealer think it's only the clear bra and were not able to buff it out and didn't think there was an indentation.
I'll try some wax as suggested by a few of you to see if it can be made less noticeable. If still not fixable, I may consider replacing the clear bra on the hood (quoted about $1000 from the dealer) at which point should be clear if PDR will need to also be performed.

Don't let the dealership touch your car (buff, wash, detail or do PPF).

Little bit surprised they could not fix it - maybe take it to a real clear bra guy and not a pretender and see what he says. Second opinion can't hurt.

Sorry OP - I hope it's an easy fix like others suggest. Jealousy is a cruel mistress, and some people just can't escape her clutches.

remember, film is flexable, its not solid. you never smooth it out, you continually scratch it more. buffing, compounding only scratches more and more. Thats why I say waxing will fill the scratches, because you wont smooth them out
