911 Cabriolet Windows Rubbing
I have a 2016 911 Turbo S Cab with a noise issue.
When the temp is below 60° F the front and rear windows make a rubbing/scratching noise when driving the vehicle particularly on less than smooth roads (plenty of them here in rural New Hampshire). If you push against the front window when it occurs the noise stops. If the front window is down it stops.
I've had it to my dealer four times and they can't duplicate it. I made a sound file of the noise and they still can't diagnose it. It's now being bumped up to a higher level Porsche technician (non-dealer).
I'm wondering if any 911 convertible owners have experienced a similar issue.
Thanks,
John

I have same sound. On warm days not so noticeable and when top is down in the summer, solid as a rock. Very hard to pinpoint the sound. I will also try the silicone.

I tried gummi pflege and it still squeaks and creaks. Doesn't matter the temp, either.
Drives me nuts.
