Any suggestions for final warranty items to ask dealer to check?

Just had any creaks and squeaks checked and the top of both inside doors changed due to pulling away at top. Had some early change over valves done. Car runs perfectly at 4 years/ 23k.

If it's running great there's really nothing to check.

I doubt they will "look" for things that are defective without an owner complaint.

If you haven't had your car in for service for some time might want to make an appointment for one of those free checks and to see if you need any computer updates.

Coming up on another brake fluid flush as well at the 4 years mark.

Squeaky doors or seat backs. Door panels pulling away from door or warping.

I just came off warranty (~30,000). Right before, I let the dealership know I was coming off warranty and they were more than happy to do an overall inspection. I didn't have any particular concerns so did not ask them to focus on anything in particular.

+1 on what Jay said. Dealer is happy to look for stuff to repair and look at common issues. My dealer did a bunch of great stuff when my Cayenne came off warranty.

I had them replace the rubber seals at the base of the side windows. Also be certain that the gas tank is properly strapped in place as that can be an annoying creaking sound.

That's about $3 per mile in depreciation. Ouch!

I don't think this is at all common but it is apparently has been an issue with a few headlights. Check for any delamination or cracking on or around the headlight. Apparently it is covered under the full warranty but possible not CPO.
Here is a good example of a post on a thread about this:https://rennlist.com/forums/991/8210...l#post13670961 A handful of people on the thread report similar replacements. Headlights are pricey.

Interesting, any other issues that the warranty covers and the CPO doesn't that merit attention before the former runs of?

I have this issue, and failed to point it out to the dealer before warranty expired. Doh!

I'm not sure of what the CPO doesn't cover that the warranty does...I would be very curious as to this, though...
