Default Steering Wheel Questions

I am looking to upgrade the steering wheel in my 2013 Coupe, 7MT, Sport Chrono. It currently has the stock black, three spoke wheel, no paddles, no multi-function controls.
I am looking at buying a Sport Design wheel, with paddles,

http://www.ebay.com/itm/252669173516...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

to replace the stock wheel.

Questions for those who some experience on this:
1) Any problems using a paddle wheel on a MT car?
2) Seller says this is not a sport chrono compatible wheel, I presume this means the display on the top of the hub will not display SC functions as it would if compatible with SC. No concern for me, but just asking about any electronic issues.
3) Stock wheel is heated, new wheel is not, any issues with not connecting the switch pigtail from the stock wheel.
4) Any of you have experience with this seller (Poland), but excellent reviews from USA and Europe/Asia.
Thanks for any help on this!

Why not just pay a little more for the correct wheel from Suncoast? I think they were selling SD wheels for less than $1k during a recent sale.

Steering wheels frequently pop up in the RL classifieds.

1. No idea; I have PDK
2. Correct
3. Not applicable for me
4. I did not go through individual reviews, but 97.5% is not a great rating on eBay

You just order the correct wheel for your car.

It will work, but the paddles will look stupid. I had this PDK wheel in my 13 MT while waiting for my new wheel after I sold the sport wheel it came with.

In fact, had this come up 3 weeks ago, I probably would have straight traded you, as I didn't want the silver of the sport wheel anymore. But, I got the base wheel with alcantara instead.

dont do something that is obviously wrong, it just cheapens your car and makes you look like you dont know what you are doing

Yup. Do it right, or don't do it at all!

This wheel is almost $1k. I'm sure you can find a proper wheel for your car for the same or slightly more. I feel you will regret having made this choice even if you keep the car forever and definitely if you don't.

Thanks to all the comments so far....
Appreciate the input, but part of the reason for the upgrade is to get red stitching, red center stripe and Sport Design wheel, vs three spoke "bus driver" wheel standard on the 991.1.
A $1100 Suncoast wheel quickly becomes $1700 after re-covering, stitches and center stripe.
Agree with the comments on paddles, regarding aesthetics, but my 7MT Vette had paddles to switch on/off rev match function. Did not bother me....YMMV😎
And seller is reducing price by 20%, so thinking about it.
Thanks again, will post what direction l go.
Any other input, let me know, be gentle 😳

Any difference in thickness or "niceness" of the wheels you had? I just got a C4S with the paddles, and the wheel feels like hard plastic. I'm hoping the leather sport wheel has a better feel to it. Will be going to a dealer to check it out, but curious though ...

no, On 2 different cars, I've had base PDK wheel, sport PDK wheel, sport manual wheel and base alcantara wheel. All are the same overall diameter and thickness.

Current situation with alcantara wheel and shift **** (still waiting on CF work to be finished)
