Oh man, you 991TT drivers have it easy. With the 997TT all we got was a slightly over-the-hill personal assistant; and with the 996TT we just got a blow-up doll.

But I thought the non-Turbo-turbo was what gave smiles while the big-T-Turbo-turbo was too clinical and lacking in emotion (far left...)

Queue jokes about RMS, IMS, and improper test drives.

And with that: IB4TM (to the abyss.)

Which one's the Turbo?
You absolutely understand me Worf!!!!! Lol.

I am sure all of them are "Turbo" Have to "meet" them all individually and all at once many times to properly to figure which one is the real turbo.

Decisions Decisions....

I am glad that I created this thread - This thread introduced me to a very specific Porsche Driving Experience. I will have rock solid idea once I do the 911 Turbo vs Gt3 Porsche Driving Experience...in April

Great choice to be making. I'd echo that certainly in London people don't know the difference between a 30k Porsche and a 130k Porsche.

and the few that do think the 130k one is great!

Cool

I drove both for aprox. 30 min. back to back on high way and twisty back roads. Fully loaded Carrera 4S was a lot of fun but Turbo S Cab put a big grin on my face all the time. Went for a (debaged) Turbo S Cab so I will never doubt myself if if should have chosen the proper Turbo.

If I was doing ED it would certainly give my wife a vacation. No such luck for her, though. All systems still go...

I love my 991.1 C2S that in comparison is a stripper at a 137K 2012.5 MSRP... and got it because my last car had too much power. Then I thought maybe just too much for the chassis of the last car... then I thought well chassis + RWD.... AWD may be acceptable.... then started reading threads like this.... then saw Top Gear UK 911TTS VS Huracan.... D@mn you people.

Hey. I drive my 911 backwards so that I can pretend its the new 928 with fewer cylinders. That and I didn't figure pedantry into what I assumed would follow.
(And your "cue" and "queue", but far be it from me to engage in pedantry!)
I expected a queue of jokes to appear in my inbox.

That was good. I cringed though, when Joey mashed the hood on CH's head hard-enough that I thought it would bend.

Have we hijacked Captain Kirk's thread thoroughly enough yet?

I am enjoying this thread and is very insightful, and no this thread is not hijacked at all.
